About 10-12 years ago I had a conversation with a restauranteur in Montpelier because I had noticed a lot of undesirables sitting around the streets begging and seemingly using young kids to do their bidding most of the time. His reply to my observations was that France had no worries about them because they would all be heading to the U.K. soon along with all the scum that Europe and Africa could send and his final comment about them not going because of the weather made me laugh. Free hand outs and apathy generally lead to situations of great concern to the populace. Beware the Ides of March.

If they are they are particularly poor at being anti. There appears to be a specfic rise in visas being granted to skilled professionals from India. Indians form the largest nationality among those getting UK skilled worker visa - The Economic Times (indiatimes.com) AshtonRed will be along in a minute ..

I tend to keep my comments on certain ethnic minorities to myself but there are certain aspects of their lives and traditions that have seen major tragedies inflicted on innocent people. The Humboldt Broncos crash that saw 17 young men die needlessly due to a large semi-truck colliding with their team bus is one of the worst tragedies but there are many others that did not get the same coverage internationally. The dynamics are always the same and involve drivers and truck owners from South Asia that are operating extremely unsafe vehicles driven by unqualified drivers and when they are brought to task about their continued safety violations they haul out the racist flag. Any certificate of vehicle safety is always found to be fraudulent because it was issued by another member of their community for payment of a fee and they just hope that it doesn't get involved in an accident. The driver in the highlighted case had been driving for only a few weeks and was also found to have falsified log books made up by his employer on his hours behind the wheel. The driver received a lengthy prison sentence and is now facing deportation to his home country for committing a serious offence whilst awaiting his Canadian citizenship. The national consensus is to deport him and unless we carry out that threat then yet again we fail because the owner involved has now dissolved his business and will never face legal issues. This is essentially my thoughts on how new immigrants flout the laws of their host country and expect special treatment based on their racial profile and my reading of the news from my birth country just furthers my dissatisfaction at the disparity. You only need to delve deeper into the happenings in Rochdale, Bradford and several other communities in the north to get the message of how some people will never assimilate into normal society based on their belief that they can continue to violate young women just like back home without retribution. Canada is a country founded on immigration and in general we do quite well in assimilation but we still have issues within ethnic based communities however the news from England makes me shake when I read about the stabbings all over the place on a daily basis. Is there an answer or do we just sit about waiting for a solution that will probably never come?

The figure of 65,500 in the link was granted visas in 2021. The majority will be here in 2022. So you feel that the UK should have open borders on its coast, and this then not being reality consequently means all European nations, all Countries are anti-immigration?
Controlled and managed immigration is a GOOD thing - good for the economy and wealth of the country. Emphasis on the word CONTROLLED. Of course, in a crisis like war, we should give temporary shelter to refugees for humanitarian reasons, but the vast majority of those people want to return to their homeland once hostilities are over.
