Nice hotel. Bit worried about leaving my car in their car park on a match night as its right by the stadium. Hope you are not expecting to get any sleep immediately after the game as the bar gets very busy and noisy particularly if we win. Me and the Mrs walked down to the casino down the road and spent a few hours gambling until it quietened down.
Don't plan on getting any sleep if we win though flight 11.30am next morning, should be ok with Metro outside the door or taxi!
Of course, that will depend on if your taking the Mrs with you and how many bags of shopping you want to be lumping about to the airport on which one to choose
I am bringing her, can't check in till 3(tried to book a table,no chance) and flight gets in at 10.30 so a visit to Fenwicks will be on the cards! What time does the Irish Club open?
Irish Centre will be open by the time you arrive in the town centre. Loads of places to eat around there with China Town a minutes walk away. then the gate has the likes of spoons etc. Treat her to a slap up cheese toastie at Shearer's hand her your bank card, pat her on her arse and point in her in the correct direction and as soon as she's out the door put a stop on your card
Take her to chicken village or whatever it's called near the ground What even is that place, a knock off KFC? Or chicken cottage or somet
Yeah though an Arsenal fan, she'll be converted by 10 tomorrow night, she came with me a few weeks ago when the original match was supposed to be on,did the touristy bit which I'd never done before because I was always on the piss going to a match, she thinks it's a great town,be different tomorrow though
When the rona was about they put cling film over the bar instead of those plastic things, true story.
A mate of mine loves it,very entertaining joint and love the clearout on a Saturday afternoon when the beer goes up.
It's good for an early pint as most pubs don't seem to open till 11:30, i think it opens at 10am every day.
