I’m ok with the draw against a top 6 side, but they were without any of their choice strikers.
We’ve a long way to go.

    Bah Humbug.
And we were without Kalas and Baker, possibly our best defenders.
TBH I became fed up with Sky telling us how bad Sheff Utd's injury situation is.
FFS aren't they still operating with parachute money ?

'We've a long way to go' is a big understatement.
Today was a good day, let's enjoy it.

ps A big shout for Massengo's 2nd half.

I’m definitely with you on that one! Thought he had a good game but was not alone.

I have said this from our opener against Blackpool, but apparently now it matters?

Yet again we were let down by a shoddy midfield, James was poor all game and Massengo was poor in the 1st half, much better in the 2nd but still gets caught in possession far too often. There was little or no press all game until they equalised, zero protection for an overworked defence and incredibly slow to back up the strikers when we broke. 2 points, firstly I think James must playing through pain I can only recall one tackle all game, he looks totally lost I couldn't work out what was trying to achieve at all, he certainly wasn't marking or closing anybody down all game. Secondly a shout out for the overworked centre backs 1 was playing for Eastleigh in the national league when covid broke and has been very ill, Cundy is playing at the highest level ever in his career after we signed him from Bath City and has had a bad injury and Klose has barely played a game for 2 years and deserve far more protection from their midfield.

And PP to help, until something is done to even it out it’s hardly a level playing field is it?

Apparently stuff like FFP abuses and PP is an excuse according to some.

None of them covered themselves in glory 1st half, but of course you would pick on Massengo, who along with Martin was probably our best player in the second half....the amount of times he got a foot in and broke up their play.......I know we don't both watch the same game...each to their own I say!!

I never picked on anyone, I called it how I saw it, somebody savaged totally Massengo as a player in another post and your mate Supcon applied a like to the post, but I picked on Massengo, boo fecking hoo.

I forgot to pick on 'Bents' who had 15 minutes where he looked like he was on drugs at the end of the first half, palming a ball going out for a corner direct to one of their players, coming for a cross he was never going to claim and being lobbed, culminating in rushing out of his area to clear a ball that again he was never going to get by a country mile.

Just like the Stoke game it took the 2nd half for us to wake up and again specifically in midfield, in the first half today and against Stoke nobody wanted to put their foot in to tackle and provided little or no press, we also yet again in the first half we had some great breaks but as usual either ran out of ideas around their box, went for the wrong option or tried the Hollywood pass and yet again for the 2nd match running the 2nd half was totally different even down to missed chances. Weimann was our best outlet in the 1st half in midfield.

Your totally ridiculous 'excuse' post was about the Bournemouth match and not the Peterborough match. Whether we look dreadful or not has totally absolutely nothing to do with the level playing field argument and it is not a level playing field and everybody can see it apart from you.

A level playing field is no excuse for your own players not putting a shift in or giving them a competitive game.. yes I see it different, doesn’t make it wrong..
We were dreadful against Bournemouth and we were dreadful against the 10 men of Peterborough.. I think has everything to do with level playing field argument.. on the day, it’s 11 v 11.. imo your argument doesn’t hold ground with me, only over a season would it make a difference.. but hey, let’s say you’re right again!!
