We got lucky with the fact that they literally thinking about their European game. But still we won and if some players could be more consistent we would be better. ASM is soooooooooo frustrating. Miggy was brilliant most of the game….. Wood………../////./
Yes I also agree with this he has actually played well most games recently. Just isn’t a sexy player. We grafted out this result because of the desire of the squad. Bruce would never have won that game.
I think its fairlysimple. Someone just needs to explain the benefits of the high pressing game to Brucey vs standing off and defending deep. Something that he'll actually understand and really relate to. Like... imagine you go to a party and there is areally good buffet spread. Do you stand back and let others dominate and take first pickings? Or get stuck in, push up and get the pork pies into a corner that they can't get out of before others get there? Give him that kind of scenario and he might 'get it'. I speak from experience.
