Just got back. Had another McShit on the way home, but just had a big tasty and that's it. No fookin fries. Plus a coffee, which didn't give me a headache! Half decent coffee for 99p tbf. Will do a bit of garden pottering then it's leg of lamb with the in laws. Cba really but it's not till this evening.
Someone should stick the guitar up his ****ing arse. Talking if which, where I sit at United is a bit of a poison chalice as you get all sorts ****s walking down the aisle to the fence to watch warm up and take pics. And beg for shirts........... Had this bloke yesterday, carrying what appeared to be an eighteen month old, and also carrying a sign begging for Jadon Sancho's shirt. Just kept shouting; Jadon, Jadon, Jadon, Jadon, Jadon, Jadon......... I actually felt like taking the child from his arm and drop kicking it onto the pitch. Just **** off you cringe ****. Sancho also showed utter contempt and then ignored it. I came back from a half time piss and there's a group of them sat on the steps and encroaching into my row, filming stuff. Said to this guy, "this is my seat......" and he kind of smiled at me and carried on with his phone camera work. "Which I'm going to now sit on, so **** off" Tourists. It's a dreadful situation.
I'm a guitarist and even I would have shoved it up his arse. Yeah and agree, all this shirt begging is getting on my tits, stewards should tell them to fook off and go and sit down.
Tbh you're either one of two guitar type guise. The annoying **** who pops it out at every opportunity Or not that ****
I only play for my own entertainment, not that of others. Think I showed you at Christmas the device I've got, that requires no leads, it's a tiny amp device that connects straight into your guitar and you just connect a headset to it.
I had some tuition at a very young age, but nowt to remember, then I had further tuition as an adult by a professional guitarist, mate of mine that has long since moved abroad. You can self teach though as Youtube makes that easily possible these days. I'd say, learn the boring bit of the very basic chords E A G D C (as example), just to try and demonstrate some very basic understanding. Then just get stuck into whatever it is you want to play, or more likely what suits your ability and style, which will take time to establish. You can get a tutor but I'm guessing they charge about £20 an hour. Don't spend silly money to start with though mate, set yourself up with £100+ electric guitar, loads of various packages online. I started on acoustic, but electric is far easier to learn with.
I can read drum music where each of the staves is a different drum on the kit and know the difference between a triplet and a double lol. I’ve never been sure how that translates into reading music properly. If I do buy a guitar, it would definitely be an electric as, as you have said, it’s slightly easier. Like you it would be for own entertainment and I wouldn’t have lessons.
I can't read music, but you don't need to with guitar as you get what's called tabs, which just translates it for you. A lot of professional guitarists can't read music. If you don't want to piss people off with your practise, look up 'Fender Mustang Micro' guitar headphone amp, best device you will ever purchase.
Thanks. Growing up I had drum kits, so I am kind of musical. I just though a guitar would keep my interest in music alive, but it might be something that could be easier as I reach my retirement age. I really like the idea of your Christmas gadget that acts like an amp through your headphones. I have a mate who plays and he’s offered to loan me one of his old guitars to have a crack on. He moved to the bass a few years ago, so focuses on that.
