BURNLEY .. DYCHE PART THEIR WAYS after 8 years ... wonder how he will fare in the future? UP side could be in the pot should BCFC be loking in the next season or 2!

He did well there. Could be shooting themselves in the foot by sacking him (I assume it was a sacking)

I'd take Sean Dyche any day of the year because he has a record of success with a supposedly smaller club along with a small budget. Considering all the top class teams in their catchment area I have always had respect for what they have achieved over the years since I first saw them at Villa Park in 1962 (?). The problem for Burnley is that I think after all the years under Dyche it was probably time for a change for both parties and I'm sure he will live in Burnley folk lore forever.

I wish him well in whatever he chooses to do and I hope it is still in football because he has always been a credit to his chosen profession. :emoticon-0137-clapp

He hated his time with us, and publicly said it was his worse time during his playing career being here. So anyone thinks that he would consider us are on more meds than me.

    Time here blighted by injury.
Very strange decision by Burnley seeing that he had got them promoted out of the Championship twice

Pearson win rate over the last ten years is double Dyche.
No way and he put the V sign up to the east end and was a sick note and was **** as a player

Dyche has done a good job with Burnley, Stoke did the same with Pulis, now look where they are. It doesn’t always pay to change managers.

Burnley is a town of circa 70-80k residents, of which 20k+ of them are at Turf Moor every week to passionately cheer on their team, which has yo-yo’d between the Championship and the Premiership for years.
By contrast, Bristol is a city of between 800k-1m people (depending on where you draw the boundary) and we’ve yo-yo’d between the L1 and the Championship over the same period, averaging , without googling, about 18k attendance (with the blue few averaging around 7k I guess)
Just shows the difference in respective achievements …

According to some reports Dyche has lost his mojo this season and the performance and result away to Norwich last weekend, when they could have heaped serious pressure on Everton probably sealed his fate.
I guess it gives Burnley time to start the recruitment process before the summer break.

I was never aware that he had played for City as those were the missing years for me. Well I suppose that might change his opinion of us because how many players have said that Bristol City was the highlight of their career? Not many I guess.

Dyche was tripe for us, thought he was better than he was - useless.

Burnley rewarded Sean Dyche with a four year contract last year, with the team fourth from bottom. Burnley are now third from bottom. Did these people envisage Burnley would not be in another relegation fight!
