What was really noticeable, was that Allahyar has got into the team spirit, and obviously has the other players onside He appears to have fitted in well, which is a real plus.
He was pretty well mobbed by his teammates when he scored,. Body language after the whistle looked like he was part and parcel of the squad.
If he decided he wanted to escape the limelight and drop down a division, you or I would be dicks for telling him to **** off to Burnley instead. No danger of it happening though, cos he's an international class centre half. He'd get a top 10 uefa club no sweat. Show some ****ing respect. You think Harry is ****E? REALLY?
I have no idea where this constant bashing of Maguire has come from. Entitled top 6 "fans" and the media is my guess
I’d be very surprised if Maguire is not playing in another World Cup semi final at least again this year. He’s not the greatest and has definitely not had the best season but his England form is definitely high standard. Just this years whipping boy.
The bloke can play, it's ****ing stupid to suggest othewise... But the red tops and sky do love to kick our finest when they're not having the best time of it... Keeps the journos in gin and the execs in Chateuneuf. And ****ers in opinions.
IMHO for what its worth! Maguire looks world class at international level, because, paradoxically* he's playing against less talented players than in the Premier league, when he's up against class week-in-week-out. Plus he was never ever quick. Brucie was never really convinced. * one of me fav words, also for what its worth.
It seems that no one at Utd really wants to be there at the minute, no one is playing very well regularly, their fans and the media are dragging them every week and Maguire himself is back page news seemingly every game. Reading between the lines Shaw said that he loved International breaks because it was a much better place to be than at Utd. I think Maguire needs a change of scene and a fresh start at club level, but I’ve faith in him for England.
I like Harry maguire but his failings here were ignored as he was a media darling at leicester and early Man U but then the media do what they do and drag him down. He’s a great player playing in an unhappy directionless team. his biggest mistake was choosing United instead of Man City.
Any of you technical savvy guys tell me why barry coopers comments video's on hull live wont load for me. Was ok up till a week or so ago. I quite like to hear his comments
Price tag doesn’t help him, lack of a good holding midfielder doesn’t help him. Sounds like excuses but all other top 6 teams have a good holding midfielder in front of them. He’s not devoid of criticism but he’s not being helped by how poorly run they are.
I like Harry but he does have two key failings - 1. his speed, and there is not much he can do about that and 2 he isn't a leader, he's hardly inspirational when he opens his mouth - having said that he can do a good job at the highest level, I just wouldn't make him captain though
OLM can you get them all to start a thread about Maguire on the Man Utd board in stead of getting all het up about another club’s player on here . He was here for a while and has forgotten about us I’m sure !
bit hilarious from someone who's constantly going on about Bowen - if you're going to make a point at least do it about something you don't do yourself
