Maybe we sack Ralph and hire Dyche?

If I had been offered 3 points from the past two games with Chelsea and Arsenal, I`d have snatched your hand off. Well played Saints.

Yeah not a bad shout. Well played Saints. A definite performance after last week’s spanking. A lot of character out there today. However, maybe I can take some credit? took my grandson; he’s seen us play Arsenal twice & won them both! :emoticon-0148-yes:

If I was an almighty being (obviously easy to imagine) and had created a universe so massive and marvellous, I would care nothing about what people ate, how they did their hair, what they wore or their sexual proclivities. Personally I’d like them to be nice to each other, but bearing in mind how huge the universe was that I had created, I probably wouldnt even give that a thought.

Enjoyed that! FF was immense, cannot remember the last time he played so well. Mo also had probably his best game this season, worked so hard.

The CB's had great communication and encouraged each other; sadly missing when Silly Sue has played of late (when we witnessed was constant bickering). Bedders looked like he had confidence in his defensive partners and it showed in his play today.

Great effort all round, Ralph got it right the tactics and formation today, just wish he would more often.

I can't fault the commitment and togetherness this week and this should be the defensive benchmark moving forward. It wasn't pretty to watch but you have to dig in against the richer clubs to get anything. Credit where credit's due, Ralph got it right but it's funny to think that the starting CBs from the start of the season were both left out.
It remains to be seen if this is the end of the high pressing, high energy football at least for this season.

Very classy of you, given it's religious significance in the Muslim community.

Arsenal must hate Forster now. He loves to play a blinder against them.

That was the antithesis of last week.

Excellent set up from Ralph, not the prettiest but it was pragmatic and successful.

Defence much improved, enough sting in our tail to get the goal. Helped that Forster had his best game of his present spell at Saints.

Not many clubs can take a smashing one week and then put out a response like that.

Bit of an odd statement really. He gets it right most of the time, it's just when he gets it wrong, it goes spectacularly wrong.

So I’m classless because I don’t agree with religious practices that involve starvation and punishment?
