As King more or less said, when you’re bringing on Lucas and Winks to change a game you know you ain’t doing it quite right. Apparently Winks has 200 appearances for us too… tells you all need to know about our plight.
Shambles. Thank **** I’ve moved to Devon and didn’t go to that, pity the poor sod that bought my ticket on the exchange.
That was ****ing appalling. Totally wrong attitude and we got exactly what we deserved. Shameful performance on and off the pitch. Not sure an unnecessary round trip of 10000 miles midweek was such a good idea for Kane!
While the fingerpointing in Winks' direction is inevitable to the point of cliche, realistically our game nosedived once Lucas came on Yes, he saved Deki from a potential second yellow - but we became impotent down the right flank when he came on, which is exactly what we didn;t need to be with Brighton putting 47 men in the centre of the pitch
Conte caught Covid and so have I then Spurs put in a nothing performance like they have forgotten how to play the game. Not a good week.
Props of moving to Devon when Spurs lose: get to go and play pitch & putt near the sea front and then go on the beach for a bbq. Could be worse, could be worse.
Terrible game made all the worse by it being on BT sport and the fact Hoddle and Jenas in the studios , they suck the life out of our team
Hmmm. Not sure I agree with this. We are light of grit in centre midfield, and creativity in attacking midfield. We STILL miss Eriksen for stubborn defences and Skippy for rigidity in the centre. We clearly lack sufficient depth in these roles. It’s the same story that’s always been the same when we are inconsistent. Relatively flimsy midfield pivot in comparison to the opposition, and not enough creativity ahead of them. Kane is trying to cover for lack of Eriksen and score goals too. Band aid temporary fix for a much more tricky problem that requires better personnel. A Dembele Wanyama prime pivot with Eriksen and the current front three up top would win this match easily. Winks Holberg pivot is never the answer.
