The Bees went through a seriously sticky patch earlier in the season, after their bright start to the campaign, where they picked up one point from eight games. But the inspired signing of Christian Eriksen has propelled them into new heights and they have won four out of their last five games, including a sensational thumping of deposed European champions Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and an easing aside of high-flying West Ham at home. In case you need reminding, Watford have come through an exact mirror image of Brentford – they have lost three of their last four matches and didn't score in three of them. The Hornets are six points adrift of safety in second bottom having played a game more. In short, it's looking very bleak for Roy Hodgson's men. To add to their worries, Watford have by far the worst home record in the league. They have lost 12 of their 15 games at Vicarage Road, which is outstandingly poor. Team News Cucho Hernandez has not trained all week, so unlikely to play. Our Officials Referee: Simon Hooper. please log in to view this image Assistants: Simon Long, Derek Eaton. Fourth official: Michael Salisbury. VAR: Graham Scott. Assistant VAR: Darren Cann. Three points would be very nice team
“Samuel Kalu has got an ankle injury,” Hodgson added. “Will Troost-Ekong is suffering from a slight hamstring strain - we don’t think it’s major but it’s too early to risk him - and Francisco Sierralta has a calf muscle injury which has stopped him training this week.
