Crazy decision. He still has plenty of credit though so he'll probably take the summer off and recharge and come back in an even better role - there'll be no shortage of offers.
Absolute madness. They'll be regretting it this time next year when they are 3rd bottom of the Championship
Trying to think of who they will go for - the obvious one being Allardyce, but I still can't make sense of it. Dyche would be the best person to get them back up next season
Imagine thinking they can get someone better that Dyche to get them out of this mess or back up next season Deluded as ****.
They'll be hoping for a dead cat bounce - can't see it though as you never hear a bad word about Dyche from any of the players. Lucky he signed a nice 4 year contract last year though - good bit of compo coming his way now!!
They have applied for relegation and will be accommodated. A laughable decision. Burnley are in very big trouble now. They are going down and the buyers have borrowed against the club to buy it.
Dyche should get Joe Pasquale as his assistant manager at his next club. I don’t know how they will get on but their interviews together will be classic.
Always liked this lad.....one of the games straight hitters....think they will regret this decision and as we know they could very easily end up in League 1.
They quite possibly will. The takeover was leveraged against the club, if their finances aren't great they could struggle to hold onto their better players, let alone strengthen. Get the wrong manager in with little money to spend and an owner with little football knowledge, you can easily slip straight through, just as we did. The saving grace is that from what I've seen of the Championship is that a lot of teams are at similar levels, you've seen how teams can struggle one season but compete for promotion the next ( Forest, Huddersfield and Millwall for example), or vice versa (Bristol City or Cardiff). But if you have problems behind the scenes you'll struggle and coming down to this level is much harder to get back than people think.
