yup, and i am not disagreeing with you...my point as always is that they get away with telling lies so many times they feel they can do as they wish. ffs people had to sit at home while loved ones suffered, unable to even visit them in their final hours, even her majesty sat alone at her husbands funeral and we have always looked to our leaders to show by example which she, alone, did. 'we' (as in the british public) continually turn a blind eye after any initial media interest until the next lie, yet come election time one or the other will get the job they want and abuse it to the max while the public continue to suffer and allow it...public schoolboys who basically have a job for life lined up as soon as they start school have absolutely no idea how ethel in her council house lives, they have no idea and simply cannot comprehend how hard it is trying to make ends meet because they have never been in that position and never will be, their only aim is to make themselves and family richer, to me they are the leeches in society living off others.
Simple as this. You cannot trust a man who lies to you once, never mind the multiple lies on top of lies this con artist comes up with. Bonko has told that many lies in his life that I think he does not differentiate between facts and the bullshit he fabricates. To him there is no difference. He says he is sorry (again), yeah sorry he got caught. Professional bullshitter.
Shows there are some ethical Conservatives. https://www.theguardian.com/politic...hnson?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=news_tab Interesting language about the Rule of Law from the justice minister. As he says the law is there to protect us from abuse by rulers. Added to that their definition of extremism Extremism: “vocal or active opposition to fundamental British values, including democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty and mutual respect and tolerance of different faiths and beliefs" I’d say this current crew are in breach of all at different points. No wonder they were Yaxley Lennon’s party of choice.
He didn't lie either, only spent 9 minutes in a room organised by his wife to receive a birthday cake and birthday wishes.
Why don’t the opposition constantly badger him on his lies when they have the chance? That’s what’s really annoying. This whole “you can’t accuse someone of lying” in the House of Commons bollocks is ridiculous when the majority of what he says is proven as completely untrue. All opposition ministers should accuse him of lying then walk out if told by the speaker (who is also a complete waste of space), just to embarrass the bloke.
They do, every Wednesday in Prime Ministers questions, to the point where it becomes embarrassing and to be honest boring to listen to. I agree with most of your second paragraph (I think Lindsay Hoyle is a good Speaker). Ian Blackford, from the SNP, was turfed out of the house a couple of weeks ago for calling Johnson a liar and refusing to retract his statement. I despise Dawn Butler but she was kicked out of the Commons for calling Johnson a liar, so was Lloyd Russell-Moyle for the same reason, there are a few but not that well publicised.
What if at PMQs everyone (other than Tory MPs) who asked a question called Bonko a liar... could be quite a sight if lots of MPs were kicked out if the chamber, but the arch liar himself still stood there.
This is the problem - I can buy entirely the idea that he just wanders around in a little bubble entirely unaware of what's going on in reality around him. He should have people empowered to keep him right on this kind of stuff though because he's always likely to get caught out in this way. All good leadership is based on the principle that you play to your strengths and mitigate your weaknesses and he's consistently failed to do that. His own party don't want to shift him and the opposition don't look likely to be able to until they stop driving their core vote away. Basically we're stuck with him, although that might not be the end of the world when you have nutters like Raab and Patel waiting in the wings.

Seems like old news this in **** show city, 2 days ago Oh yeah but there’s no one better …. I read it on here
worth a listen https://soundcloud.com/user-773097207-787181974/peter-hennessy-on-johnsons-breach-of-the-ministerial-code-1 Also interesting to hear Tory MP’s say the Archbishop of Canterbury should stop dividing the country, telling him he should rewrite his speech over the Rwanda issue which the UN says breaches international agreements. This administration really are our lowest point.
Its interesting that Welby, a Yes it will be hard to dismiss Welby as a bleeding heart leftie, he was i believe for many years an oil executive. Not quite a tree hugger! Some way has to be found from deterring refugees crossing the channel. Sending them to Rwanda, is weird to say the least. Perhaps it is all part of the distraction to save Bonko from the lies he has told about partying?
Of course it is part of "Operation Save Big Dog". Johnson does not care a jot about immigrants, the UK, the economy, or in fact anything else. Boris Johnson cares about Boris Johnson and will do anything he thinks can prevent him losing his job. We are talking about this now, so job done. Then some other outlandish incident will crop up so we forget this one. It is his modus operandi.
We have huge problems with the NHS, the cost of living and Parliament being lied to ... ... but let's make it all about black people in dinghies that most of us will never encounter. Classic deflection and Johnson's endless modus operandi.
Added to that, pretending it’s about preventing crime.. ‘stopping those evil people traffickers is evil’. By the time they’ve got here the people trafficking is done - flying them to Rwanda afterwards affects the victim of crime who the justice system (which they also have no respect for) is designed to protect. More lies and disrespect to the electorate. Blag blag blag to keep Bojo and his ruling class in power. Levelling up is the biggest lie of all.
