Was at a party in Manchester once the lead singer was there seemed a nice enough bloke. Not sure if the rest were there but think the drummer was as well.

Had to check if The Strokes - Is This It was just in the 90's.

It was 2001, so doesn't count. Has to be noted for when the Greatest Albums of the 00's thread comes out.

Genuinely thought about that one earlier.

Heard a track from Jagged Little Pill, prompted me to go back to around that time and think up more albums, thought of Finlay Quaye.

Also thought of Tragic Kingdom by No Doubt.

Pretty much because those were the albums the girl I was banging at the time was listening to.

Just so happens I was seeing a woman around then, who bought me Jagged Little Pill. Alanis Morisette was it? Too angry for me tbh.

There was a Shabba Ranks album I used to play a lot back then, can’t remember what it was called now though. Had Mister Lover Man on it…

It's a great album. I might have to Spotify it, cba to find the actual CD.

Something else just sprang to mind from that era/girlfriend Paul Weller - Stanley Road.

    It's on the list.

Girlfriend albums would be Garbage and Lightning Seeds. Junk but a spectacular shag.
