This might make me play as Charlton for once, I hate doing it as I struggle to make myself play players like Alonso when he doesn't start on a Saturday for us(yet....) I would also hate seeing Powell jobless, used to avoid it otherwise Curbishley would be managing someone else, weird! So I tend to start at the bottom, playing as Dartford in the demo so far. It's looking very nice this year, especially improved team talks

i cant remember that, i can remember the cheat for scoring from kick off (hold the shoot button). never failed.
Might not have been hit, or the same game infact. I remember a game where you could run away from the ref, after either hitting or slide tackling him. I also might be crazy and bored after a long week.

I loved the 1998-99 game in which I had a tactical formation which worked a treat, GK, 1 x Sweeper, 3 x CD, 3 x CM, 1 x AM and 2 x CF nobody out wide but the game engine must have stressed a powerful spine, won every league by 20 odd points, cups the lot Didn't work so well on FM2007 I assume the developers got cleaver to this
Almost the same thing in 01/02, AH. Back 4, 1 defensive midfielder, 3 centre mids and two strikers. Rarely lost with it.

I brought FM12 after the match yesterday and have only just got around to loading it. I am finding all of this Steam nonsense really annoying. I don't see the point in it. I don't want to show people on Facebook my latest results etc etc. I just wanted to load the game to my PC and that is it. I hope it is all worth it...
I'm still on the demo for now playing as Wycombe, made a good start of 2 wins 2 draws and a loss in the league - including a 2nil win at the Valley. I signed Kelly Youga but thats about all I could get of any worth. Charlton are really struggling on it, no wins out of the first 5. I like the new teamtalk bits and the team report details this year. It is worth the aggro Ponders.
Was too hungover to play y'day, but I'm 7 games in to the season- won 6 with only 1 goal conceded. I then played colu away and got thrashed 3-0. Dejavu. Signed loovens for 175k, and taken Hanley on loan from b'burn. Have a few Swedish players signing on free's in December/January too.
Here's my team from January 2012: Amos(loan) Solly - loovens - Hanley(loan) - mattock(loan) Waggy - Alonso - Jackson - etuhu BWP - Hayes Still second. Lost 3, but 1 point behind brentford. They have won 9 on the trot, and we both 9 and 10 points clear of Huddersfield in 3rd.
