Gomez playing RB is one of the worst things about the team. Add to that Firmino and Jota playing. Lastly Milner playing a big champions league game at all.
It's a decent side - just not what any of us would think is near our strongest. Alisson's comment about trusting whoever's in front of him makes sense now.
I like Joe gomez. Bar the unnecessary frees he gives away constantly on the sideline. I think he is severely under rated as a passer and crosser and would love to see him take a free and show trent how to do it.
Definitely worth it. We play City on the weekend and we're ahead against Benfica before kick off. A risk... But worth it to help keep the Quad alive.

shame as Jota did well, the pass back from firmino was just a touch over hit. Would have liked to have seen the ‘foul’ by Jota for that headed goal before as well. Didn’t seem much contact although Jota didn’t complain much
