Agree about attitude, we need to go at this and get a goal as they will be up for it and will be playing on that ball over the top all night
All their best players are up front. they have to go for it. they have a shockingly poor outfit at the back. If we put any sort of intent into this we should walk through this lot and score..
Nice an easy tonight please lads, get the 1st goal and breeze the rest of the game. As long as we don't get complacent we should be fine
well first 2 goals in first half and then control it. I see these games really as a battle of wills. City i am said to themselves just be ready for the reaction lads as they went of for the second half sunday. pep was fuming we scored early. I am fully sure klopp told our lot of layabouts to be ready for them form the off and to start well and we virtually threw one in. Tonight we have to see off their initial geeing up and give them no encouragement. After 10mins we want to see a pattern where they are hoofing up and can't get out. Same from the off of the second half. Those imo are the most dangerous times.
Liverpool have never faced another side more times than Benfica, breaking a record previously shared with Chelsea
Hope Klopp does not play a slightly weakened side thinking about the City semi final. City will be in for a tough night and have to travel. We should play our strongest 11 and aim to get a couple of goals early on to kill the tie off, we can always sub some players on 60 minutes to save their legs for Saturday. I can see Diaz starting and Mane being on the bench as Diaz did not do much when he came on against City on Sunday and it will keep Mane fresh. Salah needs to start as he needs to get his mojo back and start scoring again.
Agree. If we're on it we can put these away, but as the first leg showed, if we aren't then they will give us a match.
Don't know wtf you guys are worried about, we're two goals ahead with three away goals in the bag ffs
You know full well away goals do not count double in the event of a draw anymore they changed the rules and they now count treble!!!
True. Not bothered about winning every CL game after we bent over for Inter, all about progression now

Liverpool fans will be forgiven for wondering why Diogo Jota had the name "Silva" on the back of his shirt during his first season at Wolves. The Portuguese ace, 25, donned the name during Wolves Championship-winning campaign in 2017-18, when he scored 17 league goals to fire the West Midlands club to the Premier League. Jota's full name is actually "Diogo Jose Teixeira da Silva". Jota has used "Diogo J" on his shirt for most of his career, including now at Liverpool. "Jota" - which is actually just a nickname - originates from the Portuguese pronunciation of the letter "J". As such, "Diogo J" is pronounced "Diogo Jota" in Portugues It's unclear why Jota went by his full name during his first year at Wolves. When asked in August 2017, the club's Twitter account replied: "That is part of his surname. Jota is just a nickname he has become known by." The reason why Jota has referred to himself as "Diogo J" for most of his career is because "Silva" is one of the most common names in Portugal. Current Portugal internationals Bernardo Silva, Rui Silva and Rafa Silva are good examples of this. Several Portuguese footballers do not go by their full names, such as Real Madrid legend Pepe (Kepler Laveran de Lima Ferreira), Manchester United defender Diogo Dalot (Jose Diogo Dalot Teixeira) and former Wolves midfielder Vitinha (Vitor Machado Ferreira).
He will not as he has a tougher game. City will be full strength. They would prefer to lose to us if they can win the CL.
I think he'd happily chuck the FA Cup in favour of the CL so I don't see him taking too many chances.
