    Who knows.

No one should have to 'shift him' but himself.

He hasn't broken the law by driving while uninsured ...

... he broke the law he made, in the place he made it, while lecturing us on how we must obey his law.

He may cling on but he's a disgrace tbh and people won't forgive him imo.

His jokes were never really funny but they were all he had, he won't dare trot them out again.

Johnson won't resign and his bunch of sycophantic cowards won't call for him to go either. They are all as bad as each other, and actually a disgrace to the Conservative party, parliament and everything that is good about this country. Shame on the lot of them.

There’s more chance of Boris going a whole day without lying than resigning…it will never happen.

People who resign usually have a small amount of moral decency. Something this thundercunt of a PM is massively lacking.

I think he should resign. He won't, though.

The electorate will have forgotten this when the next GE rolls around. He still has time to pull it back. The longer the Ukraine war rolls on, the more his approval rating will rise.

loving the way everyone is suddenly arguing against boris as if replacing him would mean we get an honest politician who wants to help the people of the country...he walks and we get yet another 'silver spoon' tosser with no interest in anyone outside of his/her circle of family and friends.

recently heard...all new cars from 2025 to have a built in 'black box' (type new drivers use now) and a camera fitted, these would be used to guage speed of the vehicle and adjust it accordingly (obviously it looks like a good idea, no more speeding but will the govt also use it to hit people with fines as everything will now ber recorded)...seems the implanted chip is doing the rounds again, basically, this will hold all your info and more importantly all your 'money', no more need to carry a card or cash (again, some will scream 'hooray' at that thought but what it really means is the govt will know exactly to the penny how much you have and have earned, even selling a few things on the likes of ebay will be totted up against your tax returns, no more cash in hand for doing a mate a quick fix on his car...ok so you could pay in goods but what if those goods have to be accounted for, it could happen) the cashless society is almost here, it should not be allowed to happen.

    That's not my reason mate.

The PM has lied to Parliament and the public.

If we have to accept that because someone else might lie then democracy is finished ...

... there has to be punishment for people breaking the law.

Whoever replaces Johnson has to know that if you lie to the House, you're out.

that was not my point either, at no point do i think it is ok for the elected leader of a country to lie, the fact is it has happened many times before and will happen many times again as people will put up with any old crap as long as they can still get a new phone upgrade or that holiday once a year (twice if lucky)...they lie to us every election in the hope of securing votes and for all i cant stand 'that woman' she was the only one i can remember that made any kind of promise and followed it through (destroying the unions) and that caused this country so many problems i think we are still trying to catch up on the lost industry.

as far as i am concerned they all need to go and we need some kind of major change in the way things are run but what that should be i have no clue as it will take some discussions to work it all out but the current situation of 'one or the other' will never work as they are guaranteed a job for life with damn good pay and 'extras' no matter what they get wrong or how many lies they tell.

There's a massive difference between lying in election campaigns and what's happened here.

The PM lied to Parliament then lied about the lies.

What compounds it is that he made the law he broke and lectured us nightly on how we must obey.

He authorised the police to fine, even arrest people, for breaking that law ...

... while, at the same, breaking the same law in the building it was drafted.

It's shameful in my view mate.
