In the spirit of openness and humility Funny how being caught out bare faced lying will make a man feel these things. How does he survive this?
No argument from me on that one Sucky. To say it had not occurred to him, is just beyond unbelievable even for a hardcore Tory like me. Tell you who did surprise me though, Sunak, I remember him saying way back on TV that he had not broken any rules, and what came to mind is when he was in that brewery with Boris, and didn't drink the pint of beer he poured, where Boris did. I thought fair play to the guy, he don't drink, so it also made me think, why would he therefore attend a drinks party. I'm assuming he couldn't resist a bit of cake though, I never thought of that, shame really, more disappointed in him than Boris, for obvious reasons we all know Boris is a born liar.
Wtaf is occurring with that atrocious syrup? Is he wearing one of Boris' cast-offs? I think we should be told...
I mean he has to go right? Him and Sunak both been utterly exposed this week. Obviously he has no intention of resigning as he would've offered it after his bullshit apology right? So what now? Like how does this work? Is it up to his party or him solely?
We've got the locals coming up in May, I'm assuming dependent on how those go, it may put pressure on the Tories for a change, but like you I don't truly know how this works. I'm wondering if it was a landslide to Labour, if Starmer could call for some parliamentary intervention....don't know, Archers might.
See you're talking about the locals but I'm talking about him resigning today? What are we all waiting for like? He lied repeatedly to the house and the country. Over and over again right up until it was impossible to do so anymore. His position is untenable. Whats the delay here? Its like having a fireman with a pyromania problem, or something
I mean like is there not a rules for being prime minister? One of those being you have to be someone of honesty and integrity? At the moment this lying ****s just saying sorry and "let's move on" again. Nah bruv
Thing is mate, you can want all you like, he's not going to resign. Those calling for him to resign, what do you think that will achieve? Do you really want someone like Gove in charge, even if he falls under your selling patch of white powder. Why are the opposition and it's supporters so desperate to get rid of him, surely him staying if Labour supporters are to believed, will enhance the Tories losing the next GE, or maybe the real reason is the opposition is so useless, they think they can't beat him at the polls. Just thoughts mate.
The only way he can be forced out, is by his own MPs, either by forcing a leadership vote, or by sending a few party bigwigs to have a word in private. Boris being Boris, he’s not going to be persuaded, on the QT, do do the decent thing for the good of the team. So it now needs 54 (I think) Tory MPs to write to the committee demanding a vote of no confidence (which is what happened with Mrs T. She didn’t lose that vote btw, but she was persuaded by “the chaps” to step down at that point).
Lets not complicate the simple bro. Hes the prime minister, he has been caught out lying massively, breaking his own rules that he set and that we all followed. Is that not a sackable offence?
I'm sure I heard yesterday, it said that even Roger Gale had come out in support of him, yet he is normally the first queuing up to punch him, what's going on there!? Unless I heard wrong.
One was complaining about his mate a convicted ****phile being nicked the other day so that's nothing really
