I'm just saying the gap from RBR to McLaren isn't as big as people make out, Red Bull remained consistent but McLaren as a whole ****ed up too many times and couldn't keep up.

It's the fastest car on the grid, but not 0.5 to 0.8 a lap faster. This RB7 is far more reliable than the RB6 but the gap then from now was bigger.

Its flexing all over the shop, but looks messy compared to Red Bulls (seems to still work though). If it passes the tests its legal, despite what we can all see <ok>

Exactly Button has been driving extremly well this season and his worst result is 6th while Webber has been driving rubbish this season and his worst result is 5th. So....

This. Some people try and make out that Vettel could of basically won every race this season yet it is nothing to do with his car. <doh>

It is faster than the RB6 over the entire season because it is fast on every circuit which the RB6 was not.

Haha the shot of Massa was stupidly funny, now that is what I call a "flexy-wing".

I'm pointing out McLarens number 1 driver should of been doing a better job this year and the results are being twisted to say it's all the car on RBR's side.

Who would you say is having the worst season this year? Mark or Lewis? It's Lewis obviously because he is still under Mark in the WDC standings and yet Mark has been driving cleaner than Lewis this year and has 1 less DNF...

If Lewis was driving like Mark for the season and having a solid grip on the situation he would likely be ahead of Jenson.

Jackie Stewart has had a dig at Hamilton recently on the BBC rumors page, apparently there is nobody there to coach him to drive sensibly....
    Might be true.

RBR have had 2 1-2's all season. I think if Hamilton or Alonso had been at RBR Vettel would still have won, though the amount of 1-2's would've increased dramatically. Mclaren have thrown wins away with bad strategies and some bad luck with SC's, but on the whole Vettel has just been too good.

And the McLaren is obviously faster over the entire season this year since they keep challenging RBR on their favorite tracks. And that they have scored more points over 16 races than they did last year.

2010 after 16 races at Japan: Lewis 192 points, Jenson 189 points
2011 after 16 races at Korea: Lewis 196 points (worst season to date), Jenson 222 points

    you mean this comment:

I read it as Stewart saying there isn't anyone currently telling him to calm down (ignoring every single F1 story in the media, regardless of the topic <laugh>)

He seems to have increased his interest on F1 again, time will tell if it ever amounts to anything in the near future.

Can be easier said than done in the heat of the moment, but we'll see next season when they all have fresh slates whether he drives to fight another day more often.

I may have missed something earlier in the thread, but I'm not sure what you're getting at here Forza. Are you sying there is a difference or are you trying to show that there is no difference? :)

I agree with this EMSC - although I would perhaps choose a different word to "sensibly". It is something I have been alluding to even before Hamilton decided to go with Simon Fuller's celebrity management, as opposed to driver management (previously provided by his father).

I have seen Hamilton performing an internally induced, inverted spiral in his head; and his current points tally and numerous errors this season - some of which have been exaggerated by interested parties (nonetheless these people have been provided with an almost constant supply of 'material' to chew on) - is ample evidence of Hamilton's self detonation.
