No, 90+ points this season doesn't automatically mean that this seasons team is better than the team that won the league with fewer points fifteen twenty years ago.

That's not how it works, you may as well just look at numbers on a page. Which you do anyway of course.

The United teams of '94, '99 and 2008 would hand City and Liverpool's arses to them mate.

 

The best of those teams got 92 points mate, that means they lost more and won less games than The current Liverpool and City sides

But that doesn't mean they were better cos points don't tell you how good a team is.
