... is when the bunnies come home to roost, or has someone been egging me on. This could be a resurrection for us or we end up really cross and nailed on for another season in L1. A draw, in the Wycombe - Plymouth game, could mean going to Plymouth looking to go above them by the end. These fixtures man FRIDAY 15TH APRIL Fleetwood v Oxford Sunderland v Shrewsbury Wycombe v Plymouth - win win win for Sunderland SATURDAY 16TH APRIL Rotherham v Ipswich Wigan v Cambridge MK Dons v Sheff Wed - win for MK, win for Sunderland MONDAY 18TH APRIL Wimbledon v Wycombe Plymouth v Sunderland TUESDAY 19TH APRIL Burton v Rotherham Ipswich v Wigan Oxford v MK Dons - win for MK, win for Sunderland Sheff Wed v Crewe
I’m absolutely loving that Wycombe v Plymouth fixture We do our job and it’s happy days heading to Plymouth on the Monday…
Bit of a Bastard going to Plymouth on Bank Holiday Monday, but three points would sweeten it for those travelling HTL.
I remember back in early sixties when we went up to the old Div 1 we entertained PNE over Easter and they were on of the favourites to go up. Their CF was Alec Dawson, who looked more like a night club bouncer than a footballer and they really fancied their chances up here. We were 4-0 up at HT and that's how it finished, some strange results await us all over Easter, bit like today.
I have very good friends down there who are season ticket holders. They have a seat for me which I decided to take up. I will spend a couple of boozy days down there as my family are off visiting family and I have a pass for the Sunday to Tuesday. Just hope the footy doesnt get in the way of a good weekend, but judging by our form I think I might be buying the wine on the night.
It's a win win win for us, any result will help us All we need to do is make sure we beat Shrewsbury. Word around the campfire is that some idiot Mags are turning up to the Colliery Tavern as they don't play on Friday. Be aware on the Metro and at the pub.
Me and Mrs Smug got out of the car, at the away game before lockdown, and were confronted by two Mags They were shouting from the other side of the street so I signalled to say I couldn't hear and started walking quickly towards them ... ... they backed off all the way up the main shopping street but kept shouting, absolutely pathetic. They'd come to Shrewsbury to have a pop at Sunderland supporters and had an opportunity on a plate. Anyway, I now want MK Dons to win both of their Easter games against Oxford and Sheff Wed. It may mean Rotherham come to us needing a win but that would suit us better than them setting up for a draw imo. This could turn out to be a really exciting end to the season.
Just noticed Wing, the Wycombe w**nker, got a straight red yesterday so will miss vital games ... ... every little helps
It really is an intriguing run in full of uncertainty, l am quite excited and cancelled some other things that may have got in the way. HTL
We need Wycombe to lose against Plymouth. If we lose out on a playoff place 6th place would most likely to be taken by Wycombe.
