Had the 2nd Pfizer booster on 31/3. Admitted Winchester 5/4, moved to Bazza CCU yesterday…told angiogram earliest Monday. Pourquoi?
I started with aches and head ache Monday and Tuesday but tested negative. Then Wednesday cold symptoms and a positive lft test. Still have the cold symptoms and a cough and today lost my sense of smell, its a most peculiar sensation. I'll be very pissy if I lose taste as well.
Hope you get better soon Frome, I’m still testing positive after 10days! But feel ok but still have cough only
My missus lost her taste and smell for 4 or 5 days, seems OK now... Same here, just the cough now and I'm still showing positive at day 9, apparently you can for weeks after although not infectious...
It's amazing how different people have experienced differing symptoms. I never had a cough. I never lost my sense of smell or taste. I did have shivers on first night, aches, headache, brain fog, a strange stitch in my side for a couple of days and an horrendously sore throat.
Depends on how much of the virus you get exposed to, my missus works in a shop which is often crowded, 4 staff were positive a few days before her and in such close confines she must have unwittingly been absorbing the virus for that time despite a mask and sanitiser. My only knowing contact with the virus was her so my symptoms have been mild to date. It's just something we'll have to get used to. Everyone has their own weaknesses and this seems to find them...
I got it at a rehearsal on a Saturday and Sunday with 26 others. By the Thursday/Friday of the following week 16 of us had Covid. Most had mild symptoms. Some had quite strong symptoms like myself, although no one was close to being in hospital. Symptoms varied a lot amongst our 'control group'.
Day 9 testing positive, although very faint line on today's test (no idea if that means anything). Still coughing, a bit snotty still and my sinuses are thick but otherwise not feeling too bad. Still can't smell anything, I did think yesterday one of my farts made it through but it was just wishful thinking. Wish I knew if I was actually contagious now or not. Hope everyone else is on the mend and/or not suffering too badly.
Glad you are feeling too bad. Bet you are negative by tomorrow. Sending positive, sorry negative thoughts
Glad it's not too bad. Totally different symptoms to when I had it. I didn't test negative till day 11, measured from my first positive test.
Cheers. Like you say its very odd how differently it affects people. My other half is very grateful I haven't lost my sense of taste as I'd be a grumpy nightmare to live with (especially in addition to the Rs current form). I was quite rough for the first few days, started off with aches and pains and then more cold like from day 3ish. I'm on day 9 from my first positive.
I’ve still got the cold/sinus infection from last week, five negative tests (including throat and nose swab ones) so far. Other bugs still exist! Bastards! It’s very mild, but lingering.
Absolutely. I had covid three weeks before a show and just about managed to get my throat 'show ready' in time, although it definitely wasn't as robust as it should have been. Then, a few days after the show ended I got quite a bad cold. Now I'm left with painful sinusitis.
