I was out and listened to a fair bit of the commentary on 5 live. First half, they thought we were in control, looked dangerous when we attacked and dominant defensively. Second half they had a spell of pressure which we weathered pretty well then we cruised it after the second. sounded like a regulation win and perfect away performance. Mind you it was Jonathan woodgate on commentary.
Marsch said in post match presser that it wasn't a great performance but we defended well, especially in one v one situations and we scored from a few advantages we had. I'd say that's pretty spot on. I always say it but winning is a habit. We have that habit now and even though we weren't exactly slick today we managed to dig in and took our chances when they came. 3 big points. The big positive is that we can play so much better.
Jesse is averaging 1.7 points per game over the last 6 games since he took over. Way better than any of the teams around us and below. If he can keep that record going…….
I thinks the average over the next 6 games could be a bit lower than that. If we get 1 per game, on average, I will be happy.
Oh... and West Ham need to beat Brentford. Don't worry, Declan is on it... please log in to view this image
I think you could be right, as long as they don't leave the 1/2 pt per game until the last game. It would decimate this forum.
If that's the road people like you go down, go for it, but you'll come a cropper one day, unless you're a muzzie of course
