I agree... It's crunch time over the next couple of weeks, but if we lose those 3 we'll definitely be back in the mix.
I wouldn't want to go away there needing a result.. We're not everton and we'd have a goal deflected into our own net and not the other way around. As a nufc fan we should all know it's not over until its over and that if something can go wrong it probably will
Only last year Fulham ate up a 9 point gap and we went in the bottom 3 for a few mins. It only took 10 days. We stayed up but people didn't see it coming
Not forgetting that we are currently 10 points clear of third bottom. Yes Burnley have two games in hand but that still leaves them 10 points behind. Even if they win both games in hand then they are still 4 points behind. They have won 4 games out of 29 games and now we have them winning 4 out of 4 to overtake us,
There's no argument that Newcastle are in a good position and probably safe, but people declaring nufc are in fact safe are wrong. I just read back and a year ago I said the samw before Fulham won 3 games in 7 days after not winning that many all season before that week. Guess what? People told me Fulham have so. That many all season so they aren't likely to win 3 in a row... They did though I'll do as I did then and see how the next 3 games play out.. Its not long, but until they're done it you can't rule out a twist on football. Well I mean you can and people are, but they're not right at this stage.
I accept mathematically we aren’t safe and I agree it should be a lot clearer in 3 games time but I know whose position I would prefer to be in and it ain’t Burnley’s.
I'll happily take Burnley losing to Norwich and for them to go. Everton will never recover the way they need to in the summer, they'll drop next year.
We lost 3 of the last 4 It's all pretty meaningless all the stats.. I mean we've went from 1 win all season to winning 7 in 10.. Thats football.. Expect the unexpected.
