Two really poor sides, Peterborough having the better chances but a good goal from Atkinson gives us a 1.0 lead at HT..
Sloppy play all around in the first half and to be fair I think Peterborough have looked the slightly better side based on the play. Our defence has looked very weak against a team that has very little to play for and therefore are going to give it a good go to put themselves in the window for next season. Bentley has been very busy and a post saved him on one occasion along with some poor handling so he will be very relieved to go in with the lead. We consistently are poor in our passes out of the back line but our goal was sublime in it's execution but we need to be more aware of their threat and if we don't pay more attention Posh are more than capable of coming back at us based on their performance up to now.
Appealing defending, again… Some on here calling Klose class, I think he’s been as culpable for goals conceded as Vyner! Surely he has to be controlling the defence as the senior player. Farkin shambles defensively all season.
Everything about us today sums us up in a nutshell which is absolutely useless. Still there's still time for a winner to come and it wouldn't surprise me if it wasn't Posh.
So much better on the eye, home against 10 men to the team at the bottom of the league. And we scrape a 1-1 draw.
The excuse by some last week was the level playing field v Bournemouth.. Peterborough’s 10 men seems to be our level currently.. Of course those saying it’s so much better and more entertaining are having a laugh..
Boos around Ashton Gate for another lousy performance and it was summed up by the commentary team when they said it only needs a moment of quality for City to win the match. I hate to tell them but we've been waiting for some quality for years and it doesn't look as if we even know what quality is which is scary for next season. NP has a huge almost insurmountable hill to climb and I saw many players out there today who need to be moved on during the summer because the collective effort is never there for the supporters to at least have a flicker of hope.
We’re really poor aren’t we?, next season will be interesting. If we don’t have a really good summer window we’re knackered
Ashton, I agree but it seems we don't have any money. Reckon, with or without a points direction, City will be one of the favourites to be relegated.
