Because he's kept us in the league. It was 6 weeks ago when we got 5 points out of City, Spurs and United in the space of a week. People need to stop losing their **** after one thrashing.
Fair to say that that 4/5 game run earlier in the season counts for nothing given the collapse since.
Totally agree, it isn’t like this is Ralphs 1st season here, or he hasn’t got the players he wants. He is pretty average, and i imagine there are other managers who could do better in the same circumstances. And before someone posts who - i dont know and it isn’t my job to know, i just know when ive had enough.
Well, l was pumped for the game, l hoped we might get a point and for the first time in over 55 years of supporting Saints, during which time l have never left before the final whistle, l walked out at half time. Shambolic display, l am on the bus going home to my wife and twin daughters. My wife bought me my season ticket, from what l.saw today, l will ask her not to waste the money on me and spend it on the girls.
In all the Branfoot, Gray, Portaloo, Wotte, Pellegrino and Hughes eras have I seen a display as embarrassing as this. Salisu and Bednarek are a ****ing disgrace and the only player with a modicum of honour today is Fraser. Insipid, no fight or pride there are absolutely no excuses for this shower of **** it really should've been over ten by now.
Villa? I don't want him out but it's dishonest to suggest that it's down to one game. Lots of people don't like the continuous collapses of form.
Im not losing my **** Tom, far from it. And it isn’t just one thrashing is it, we have been pretty poor most the season, albeit a mini purple patch in the middle. And this has gone on for a few years now.
Really odd. Not sure why we can’t exercise damage limitation? There must be a reason we’re susceptible to these score lines.
See this is one of my main issues, very few teams perform as badly as we do in terms of capitulating. For me that is on Ralph. In these moments he is utterly clueless at shutting up shop to keep the score down.
Thing is, if we’re set up badly, or there’s mental selections or something, I do think that’s on the manager. Today, the players aren’t even doing the very basics out there, and premier league footballers should be able to do the very simple basics, regardless if you have Pep or Pellegrino in charge.
Because we've got a bunch of fans who thinks he's the ****ing messiah because he cried when we beat Liverpool. Apparently that means we can have massive periods of ****eness and record breaking tonkings and they'll just clap and claim he's better than Koeman
I don’t think they’ve stopped playing for Ralph at all (in the same way they didn’t stop playing for Puel. He was sacked because the way he set us up was dull as ditchwater).
