Not sure I've heard of a match being held up for this reason before but the Met Police v Taunton game was held up for 5 minutes because the sprinklers on the pitch suddenly started working and a lot of the surrounding players were getting an unwanted shower.
And they hit the woodwork 3 times too apparently! Southampton seem to take 1 beaten a season. Mind you least it is just once - not every other week. Mind you bet Chelsea wish they'd save some goals for the 2nd leg in Madrid.
I can't decide if Norwich 1 Burnley 0 is a scoreline that helps us... Although after yesterday we're probably beyond help anyway.
Probably. Norwich now 2-0 up. Worryingly, Brentford are 2-0 up against West Ham too - we could be in for another hiding next Saturday.
I'm not sure about that. They did send out questionnaires seeking public opinion - but either not all have been returned yet, or Sue Gray has lost them.
No lack of fight from the teams in the Huddersfield/Luton game - literally! Good goal by Huddersfield. Luton not having much luck (shame..) injuries and a missed penalty.
A rare point for Fort William last night - just their fourth of the season. I'm thinking of giving our Brentford game a miss on Saturday - Fort William are playing my local side in what will probably be their last Highland League for a very long time. They have a relegation play-off later this month - unfortunately for them it's against probably the strongest non-League side north of Edinburgh.
Looks like normal service has resumed for Chelsea - playing all over the top of Real Madrid and leading 2-0. Also had a goal disallowed for a rather dubious handball.
My son lives there - thinks it's quite a pretty place. Mind you, he's more into flamenco than football.
Oh yes - it is but the football team (well one of them) has a certain style of playing. Mind you Fodden was trying to do the old gamesmanship too by trying to get back on the pitch when injured.
