Today is the 21st Anniversary of arguably the Chairboys greatest ever day when they took on Liverpool in the FA Cup Semi Final at Villa Park but that was then and the biggest game now is at the Priestfield Stadium when we take on the Gills in a must win game for both teams as while we climbed back into the playoff places in midweek the Gills dropped into the danger zone, a win for us would strengthen our position with most of our rivals having difficult away games and Oxford play Sunderland a draw in that one would be great. Gaz may name an unchanged line up but Hanlan Wheeler Grimmer and Obita are all pushing for a start Stewart may sill be injured. I won't be making the trip to Kent but I'm sure if the lads play like they did on Tuesday evening it will be a good game and all three points should be there for the taking
The Gills recently drew with Sheff W and only lost to a 95th winner by Sunderland. Expecting a tricky game but one we have to win. Looked good against Cambridge so more of the same please
We need to be very professional today and clinical. They are fighting for their lives and we certainly have the better squad, just need to show it like we did at Cambridge. Saying that, I’d take a 1-0 anyway. I’ll be keeping a close eye on the score from sunny Thailand as it’s 6hrs ahead here. Mrs will probably get the hump with me phone checking during dinner….oops!
11: Wycombe are forced into a change of their own. Anis is injured, so former Gill Brandon Hanlan comes on. 0-0 | #GILvWYC https://t.co/r9XtBpovr9
