This is the only race that Mrs R&W and I ever regularly bet on.
    Anyone having a flutter today?
RP - JGF - any tips?
    (I haven’t seen who’s running yet)

I've done a few, not on form, just dates etc.
Longhouse Poet is tipped by Pricewise, probably the best tipster out there.

Haven’t bet the on the Grand National for years , used to enjoy it , now I just think horse racing in general is cruel, this race especially so, it’s nothing to do with the fact I’ve never won a penny on it, honest ! <laugh>

Never get rich betting big mate.
Truthfully, I come from a long line of gamblers, and being once addicted to the fruit machines made a vow never to bet. I bet I get to end of life and succeed.

Never mind the GN, have a go at you winning at home today against Peterborough.

    You're odds on favourite @ 4/5 - they've got no chance @ 10/3 against....<whistle>

You could try a double of you winning and us losing away to Reading - the bonus for you would be you'd go above us in the table....<laugh>

Have you gone for it Sparkey?
It would go some way to easing your pain as you cash in your winnings! <laugh>

In my youth I spent rather too much on fruit machines as well, it was difficult to stop, I managed and haven’t bet since. It was not easy though so understand where your coming from, mine wasn’t too bad, but it could have been.

I used to know one of our fans who ALWAYS bet on us losing for exactly the reason of compensating his misery when we lost.
It was his ‘drowning his sorrows’ fund !!!
