It never hit the heights of The Stone Roses, The Smiths or The Charlatans early stuff but there was a lot of content and a great scene. Just remember a lot of gigs and beer gardens, a great scene more than quality or great albums but it also had it's moments.
Okay so I've bowed to peer pressure and will do a new list, now top ten alums of the 90's which is going to be ****ing impossible.
It was decent pop music I'll give it that. It all just felt a bit manufactured, look at us groovy brits, and it was marketed as such. The indie scene it evolved from was truly groundbreaking, so I guess it was always gonna look a bit ****e in comparison.

You've covered loads of it. Bar the indie and hip hop stuff, I was heavily into house so a lot was just tracks in clubs. So, there's stuff like Leftfield and Underworld putting out great albums. Portishead and Massive Attack obviously. Do Pixies squeeze in? Doolitle probs last of the 80's. Evening everyone.
Bleach was 89 Nevermind the title says it all. In Utero was 94 I think and will be right up there for me.
