In year 2 or 3? Like I said I can’t believe that’s happening in multiple schools. I know of only one instance where it’s been mentioned to children at a younger age is when a child has come in from another school and whose parents have advised the new school that their child is identifying as the opposite sex and so the school wrote a letter to parents first explaining what their talk will be about and they had an assembly on it. Year 5 they are taught body parts and puberty. Sex education is then taught in secondary school - usually at ks4 by which time they know everything anyway. Observed a senior leadership member have a year 10 class for sex Ed and she was demonstrating putting a condom on a banana. Most hilarious thing I’ve ever seen and the reddest cheeks I’ve ever seen If it is happening more frequently then I presume that’s a Tory government initiative which I find hard to believe as I’ve not heard or read about it.

My little'un is year 3 in a COE school that had/has (they were separating) private funding/directors rather than being led by the nose from Northumberland County Council.
It would still be just about the different identities that people are claiming to be and that all rights are to be respected. They won’t be going “are you sure you’re a boy/girl etc”
