After 29 games we had 26 points so still better off than either Everton or Burnley at the same point in games played
I felt we needed 4 points from Southampton and Watford so guess that makes us needing a win reality is it’s a must not lose as defeat would also bring Watford back in it .. and they also have a reasonable run in. norwich Burnley this weekend. All norwich aren’t we.
I feel Leicester are weak. No Vardy, nothing to play for, players wanting away so not risking injury. I fancy Everton to get something from that game.
Apparently, when Bielsa was offered the choice of three by Orta, one was Cornet I can’t remember the other guy but the third was Firpo
I don't disagree but Everton are rock bottom on the one thing you can't get from a training ground, confidence. I really can't see them winning one more game this season, maybe there's a bit of wishful thinking in there.
Everton with 11 days to prepare for Leicester at home I think. Leicester go to PSV then Newcastle before the Everton fixture a few days later.
I said a few days back I’d rather have Burnley’s run than Evertons. If we don’t get a few more points it will be Everton who saves us from going down
who knows who was actually ‘offered’ but the two we were linked with ahead of firpo were cornet who was apparently a play anywhere including left back option - and romain perraud who went to Southampton
Good info, I wonder how that relates to squad size? but whatever was we can't change, just need to win games.
I honestly never cherry picked mate, I just searched very quickly for “Harrison Losing Possession”. I haven’t overly looked into it, I just remember on here and on social media in general his name cropping up time and time again in a negative fashion (as well as the games I’ve watched) I do have IPTV so I do get to see all the games. I honestly don’t hate the lad, I see the odd flash of brilliance but the odd flash is not enough at this level. He used to be the same at times in the Championship but it went unnoticed more because of the results. If he pulls on a Leeds shirt I’ll support him, I’ll celebrate a goal like the next person but it won’t stop me from wanting better
I can only see us picking up solitary points from now until the end of the season. Maybe Brighton at home is a possible win. We'll be lucky to get 5 points, which should be enough, but it'll be a close run thing. Rodrigo has to reinvent himself as a striker.
