Thanks Richie, I'm feeling much better already so it's not going to become a regular occurrence.

I do hear that. But sometimes, deciding to do nothing for a while, is taking positive action.

It was unexpected. I smoke and have for years, but I don't smoke much and I've always had good lung capacity and O2 levels, I'm still the same weight as I was 30 years ago and I don't drink often. Even my cholesterol levels are optimal.
Hopefully it'll be a one off.

I'd actually ordered dinner, and never even saw it so that sucked too :emoticon-0102-bigsm

I've designed an extension with a moveable wall and all sorts of trick lighting that may be going up this summer...I'm not building it though so I'll just be spectating that one.
I'll take your advice though, seems wise.

There's a balance to be found between exercise and rest, not always easy to achieve.

Glad to hear you're okay. I'll just repeat what a doctor told someone I know: sometimes a small heart attack is the best news you can get, because it serves as an early warning system and allows action to be taken before bigger problems arrive.

Thanks Schad. It's still a bit of a mystery as to cause but everything else got a thorough check so I'm reasonably confident that I'm not a total write-off yet.

Glad you're ok. No such thing as a good heart attack but at least by having a small one you can be regularly monitored by doctors. My dad was on the way to having a heart attack before he had a bypass operation.

I am behind removing most of the restrictions (IMO mask wearing should have stayed not only to protect you , but you are naturally more cautious with a mask), but IMO the removing of the free tests and any period of isolation (even 3-5 days) is the thing that is going to to keep this around for a lot longer.

I'm on day 9 of isolation. I've had no symptoms other than occasionally being very slightly bunged up for about a week, but I am continuing to test positive. Tomorrow is my final day of isolation regardless as I should no longer be contagious after 10 days and apparently you can continue to test positive for some time. I'm also supposed to be running a marathon on Sunday. Not the ideal prep! o_O

Sadly this is what happens when the government, in it’s rush to be the first to do away with all restrictions, STILL doesn’t understand the knock on effects of the virus running unchecked through the population.
Never forget that Johnson wanted to let it run during the first wave, and shudder at the death toll that would have caused.
I will, hopefully, be flying to Spain on Saturday in the knowledge that, based on recent infection figures, there could be 15 or so passengers who are carrying Covid.

Recent study shows that attractive people are less likely to catch Covid....which explains why I have escaped :)

Apparently regular features and good skin is a sign of health...related to good genes. Probably why we are attracted to such people.

Bad news for a few of you I expect :)
