Terrible management of the economy. 10% increase for every person in work plus doubled gas and electricity prices. While Sunak donates 100k to an elite fee paying school registered as a charity, probably to avoid taxation and school teachers buy kids pens
Don't have a meme but I prefer this supposed quote of his. "Where there is a great deal of free speech there is always a certain amount of foolish speech."
Over time Bozo is getting caught out, he says anything to get himself off the hook then realising the consequences months later and u-turning... Another current example... Local Tories lash out at Boris Johnson's cut-back bus fund https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/politics/local-tories-lash-out-boris-26641195
It was but has fcuk all to do with bozo attempting to run our country today...Boris Johnson admits families face choice between heating and eating under his government... https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/politics/breaking-boris-johnson-admits-families-26648187
mate your a yougun you don't know how hard your parents and grandparents had it, and all the while in the North East it was always under labour Councils. so spare me the bus pass money outrage, why not complain why we have the biggest council tax cos they are on 100grand a year and still want more. today is a lot easier than years ago, there are problems if he doesn't fix them he will get kicked out. then we come full circle again under labour, selling our gold reserves under Brown was idiotic, going to war under Blair was war crime, and the deal he made with the EU so he could be president, dropped this country in the clarts it was a **** deal, so please stop going on about only one party you are stating to sound like DH4 and we all know hes not right upstairs with his theories.
Neither can bozo Boris Johnson's law forcing all voters to show ID suffers crucial Lords defeat. https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/politics/boris-johnsons-law-forcing-voters-26652521
It's become impossible to watch the news and understand what's going on. It seems hospital's are declaring major Incidents and airports, etc, have huge problems. People seem to be saying they're worse off, many are struggling. Covid numbers are incredibly high and the government are very quiet. There seems to be very little cohesion in the cabinet and the PM doesn't seem to be much of a leader. It's all really messy and confusing, it doesn't feel good.
Too busy dreaming up tax avoidance schemes to retain personal wealth and harm the economy to run a country. Not only did n this is the residence overseas but there is also the ‘payment by dividends’ and the trading with Russia. https://www.theguardian.com/politic...on-domicile-status?CMP=Share_AndroidApp_Other
Is momentum still as influential with Starmer as leader? I feel like he needs to drive them away from the party to win back the trust of all the NE voters who have become disillusioned with the direction that Labour has been heading towards over the previous 7 or 8 years.
Why don’t the MPs who disagree with Momentum just leave and form another electable party, I don’t suppose it’s because it’s easy being a nobody collecting a fat wedge every month.
I agree , thats why I am all for giving proportional representation a try its not a perfect system but much better than the current horse race we call democracy.
Canny money for doing f uck all. The basic annual salary for an MP from 1 April 2020 is £81,932. MPs also receive expenses to cover the costs of running an office, employing staff, having somewhere to live in London or their constituency, and travelling between Parliament and their constituency.
I don't know enough about that, mate. I'll have a read up of it, though. I'm hearing some people say it's a fairer system and some folk say that any government set up like that is a mess and can never agree on anything.
