Can anyone tell me what the point of the UN security council is? Surely the vetoes make it pointless in actually achieving anything when those nations are involved? Makes the whole thing a bit of a joke imo.
well i can tell you that the 5 permanent members are there as they are the 5 countries who "won" WW2 - China was included because the Septics had high hopes for them and had politically invested a lot in Chiang Kai-Sheks Nationalists during the war
Yeah I know mate but it's a bit of a joke init? Look at the behaviour of some of those nations since then and yet they're the ones put on the pedestal.
well yes but there is no way to change it at present though if the Ukraine win perhaps Russia gets relegated and them promoted .
It's straight promotion? There isn't even a play off? I think they should at least have to fight Turkey in a decider.
That's cos Russian tanks have autoloaders, they increase the speed you can load the turret and sometimes you can even have multiple rounds ready to fire. The issue is simple, when those tanks are hit with rockets as advanced as the ones we are giving Ukraine they pop like a champagne bottle. It's why they're all pictured with their turrets blown off. Russian tanks are lol. NATO tanks, across the board, insist that you have a physical person in the tank loading the rounds manually. NATO tanks also have their HIGHLY EXPLOSIVE rounds, inside a separate compartment so if it does explode, the guys survive.
thanks brh but did you see the Russian soldier flying through the air in bits? and an arm rolling off near the top escape hatch what about the one who got blown onto the road in the 2nd explosion the one crawling away…that was a death crawl…pure adrenalin…one leg a bit limp. don’t think there were any survivors
watched it where the **** did that soldier who comes flying through the air come from ? looks like he’s been lobbed into the mix way after the explosion unless he gets launched so high up it takes him a while to land ? ****in grim though
I struggle to see what advantage tanks are in 21st century warfare. I wouldn't want to be in one or even near one, especially with these tank buster weapons we are giving them.
Yeah I saw a video on this, it's a complete unwittingly purpose built design fault if you like. Because they were trying to accomodate the auto loader, which in turn reduces crew, it actually made the tanks more vulnerable, hence as they called it, the jack in a box effect. There is no protection between the amo and the crew in the T72's. Also by reducing crew, they reduced the capability to repair the tanks, due to less hands. Afterall when were tanks last ever if ever, put to any real test of warfare. Now the Ukranians and the West know their weakness, you'd have to be stark raving bonkers to even be inside one as the enemy, as it's instantly fatal to the crew, when hit. Seems from what I can gather the Abrams is by far the superior model, even if they have smaller guns....demonstrating size is not always everything.
The NATO code word for Russian tanks is Ronsons because they light up first time That was of course a reference to the Yank Sherman tanks from WW11, the allies called them Ronsons and the Germans called them Tommy cookers
