I love how that everyone is writing off the games against Manchester City and Liverpool. We should be looking to get points off them. I reckon the league will have been decided by then and champions league will be upon them assuming they get through this round.
This for me. I think a return of 8-10 points is so able. Personally think the spurs result may be a blessing in disguise and what we probably needed as a reality check.
Well, not really - if we’d beaten Spurs we’d not need anything!! But I see what you mean, in the context of being “unlucky” the previous two games, another narrow defeat may have meant persevering further with things that need to change.
no chance. There's more chance of obi buying a salad than a s getting points of those two… and Obi will never buy a salad.
Lol. Those 2 don't drop points. The match against them on Sunday is a huge crunch match, and afterwards neither will let a point slip in the run in. We'll get twatted in both games.
lol yes they do and you have to believe in your team. i hate clubs who go in to a match thinking they are losing regardless. Absolute pathetic. Liverpool only just beat Norwich the other week and Man City lost to Crystal Palace. Both of those teams we play soon. Don’t think we’ll win but we can get a point from either or both. Maybe they’ll suffer lots of injuries or suspensions or the players don’t want to risk missing the final or they get knocked out and lose their title hopes and heads drop….. We can win We should aim to win
I do believe in my team and I want us to win every game.... however I'm also realistic and know we won't win every game. Hence I'll watch each game and shout at the TV wanting us to win, but it isn't realistic to predict we'll get points from those 2 games. City and Liverpool may have dropped points early in the season, but now it would be a huge shock if we get points from them.
Their league record from last 20 games - P20 W17 D2 L1. Hardly a horrific run that we can take advantage of.
