Because he wouldn't train, didn't try when he did play, didn't get on with Arteta and was just being a prize knob cos he wanted to leave ! Palace are turning into a seriously good side under Viera, another young manager with bright ideas and an attacking philosophy. Well don't to their board for taking a chance and appointing him, it can pay dividends !
Poor old Eze doesn't even get off the bench when they're 3 up. His injury and the appointment of Viera have really stalled his career. Doesn't look as though Viera rates him.
Can’t be any fun having that talent, and opportunity at his time of life, to be left on the bench with little sign of being a part of the first team. Sounds like he may be coming to a crossroads career move sooner than he imagined.
He had started the previous 3 games, the injury was bad timing and with the purchase of Olise and Zaha staying I don't think he gers in the first 11 atm if everyone's fit. The buys he's made were very good ones and Palace actually have strength in depth now, Eduoard hasn't started a game for 2 months now and he's a decent striker !
I'll just add that Gallagher has probably been one of the players of the season, the Scum would be complete cretins if they sell him !
Olise was injured for last night and Eze still not selected, although he'll probably start the semi-final at Wembley because Gallagher can't play against his parent club..... Spurs could do far worse than offer 40m for Eze in the summer and we pick up a cool 8m plus the balance of the original fee...... not sure toon is the best place for him...
He might not win trophies, at least until the Saudi cash kicks in and they upgrade their manager, but the fans would love him at Toon. Spurs are losers.
