I am going to be at my sisters, who lives near Watford, for her 60th birthday that w/e and staying and extra day in the hope that I can go to this match. What do you think my chances are of getting a ticket or 2 given that the last time I attended Vicarage Road was over 40 years ago? I do have a fan number though.
Contact Meg Clarkson the Supporter Liaison Officer at the club and explain your situation ....you need to make out it is a big occasion and you follow us every week from remote Scotland..... etc etc. I have been helped before with tickets as they have some spare etc.... having the fan number is very important
I honestly think you should have no problem - the few times I've been since 2015 I've had none. The only downside is that you may find yourself sitting at pitch level in the Lower GT - not the best view in the stadium.
You can probably get a seat from all those people who have said they are never going again .. I mean sure they will happy to give up their ticket .

Sounds like an idea but not sure I’d get in as not really into public events like this and probably wouldn’t keep quiet ! They aren’t happy on WFC forums about not being invited .!
I suspect the use of words and language on there has put the club off them! But I do agree the fans generally should be told about stuff in and around the club so long as it's not private of course.
