The Mancs are becoming the nomads of the site because their board has died a death since the Great Manchester Massacre.

The board of a team that recently got twatted 6-1 has turned into a ghost town.

Not very confident about getting a win here, Glad Shane is out of the game as he would be a big threat to our shaky defence this season. I Predict 2-2, Suarez 2x Odemwingie 2x

    The view from West Brom

West Brom fan Ben Ruhrmund provides an interesting view from the Hawthorns, where Liverpool will meet former manager Roy Hodgson on Saturday.

How are West Brom fans feeling ahead of our trip?

Well, it couldn't be much happier. We have just beaten Wolves and Villa within the space of seven days (the latter for the first time at Villa Park in my lifetime!) and as you might have guessed, both of these games are very important for us Albion supporters. We had a dodgy start with three straight defeats but we have bounced back. With regards to Liverpool - the fixture always filled me with more dread than any other but with the result from last year, this has been slightly lessened and I think we are learning not to fear anyone in this league now.

One song we're bound to hear?

We'd been very quiet at the Hawthorns up until the Wolves game. I would guess you will hear a fair amount of anti-Wolves/Villa songs. I know it is done elsewhere but the 'Tchoyi will tear you apart' is one that seems particularly popular at the moment.

Best and worst thing about a trip to the Hawthorns?

Best thing would probably be the supporters - we are generally a pretty friendly and knowledgeable bunch if you can understand the black country twang. Worst would be the paucity of decent pubs within walking distance and the very average catering inside the ground.

Best and worst thing about being a West Brom fan?

Best is the fact that we rarely have a boring season. There seems to be something to play for at the end of almost every campaign. We also have a history to be proud about and are assured of a solvent future. The worst thing would be the lack of ambition that I think we are guilty of. We must have millions in the bank but our chairman appears very reluctant. Whilst I fully appreciate that the books need to balance, we could definitely push out the boat a bit more to support the manager.

How will Roy Hodgson play it?

I would guess that he will continue with his tried and tested 4-4-2. We have lost Shane Long to a knee injury after Alan Hutton's shocking challenge last week and he will be a big miss. It's likely to be the unpredictable Somen Tchoyi partnering Odemwingie up front.

How popular is he with the fans there?

Very - we are lucky to have someone with such a wealth of knowledge and experience. We are so much stronger defensively than we were under RDM and Mowbray and this with a starting defence against Villa that collectively cost £800k!

    Who makes you tick?

I might have said Shane Long had he been fit but Mulumbu probably. He breaks up play and creates from the heart of midfield. Olsson is turning into a bit of a legend at the back and Odemwingie always has a goal in him but I think Mulumbu is the real heartbeat of the team.

How do you beat West Brom?

Attack with pace. We are fragile if you have someone who can exploit the slight lack of it that we have in defence. Also if you starve us of possession we can get frustrated and make mistakes.

LFC player you'd most like to see missing from the teamsheet?

Suarez (although he is in my fantasy team) and/or Bellamy. Mainly for the reasons mentioned above. Carroll has a good record against us for Newcastle so he may be a worry and then obviously Gerrard as well.

    Predictions?

Score draw. 1-1 with few chances. I'd take a point.

Clean sheet? Not a f:emoticon-0183-swearin' hope in hell. When the full back gets interviewed and says its not important, we'll just outscore 'em, you know we're going out to try and hammer 'em.

Mind you, someone is due a pasting given the number of chances we're creating. If we score half of 'em, it'll be a cricket score...
