OK so here's a maths question for you then. If Newcastle have played 30 games and have 31 points to, Leeds have played 31 games and have 30 points, Everton have played 28 games and have 25 points, Burnley have played 28 games and have 21 points, then just how much of a **** is Shelvey?
I ****ing hated Algebra man. So if I remember, if an apple plus a banana = a coconut then the coconut = an apple plus a banana?
Have faith lads. there’s 9 points buffer and goal difference in our favour. worst case if we don’t win again… teams below us have to get at least 3 wins to overtake us. with only a handful of games left I fancy is to get at least another win so make that 4 wins needed for the teams below us.
Everton v Burnley will be a vital game this week. If Burnley lose that one then I might have to change my relegation predictions.
players coming back from injury, especially Trips.. plus Bruno settling in.. says we will be allreet.
Yeah half mackem, half Yorkshire. So tight-fisted but with a bigger fist than the average Yorkshireman.
I predicted pre-Eriksen Brentford, Leeds and Norwich to go down. If Burnley beat Everton, things will get a little anxious until we get another win. Burnley have two games in hand and also play us. We've just had a bad result - but we're probably already safe.
After watching the last 2 games I don't think we're. The run nufc had was great but they definitely ran their luck They need a result
One more win means Burnley or Watford need to win four games minimum to catch us if we lost every other game, not happening. That good run has seen us safe.
I think we'll be safe before the Liverpool game but hopefully yesterday will be the kick up the arse they need. Need Wilson and Trippier back asap
But if the only real options are therefore Wood, or Gayle...? I'm not going to suggest moving Joelinton back into the main striker role, he just doesn't suit it.
