Yes but we are not on their border , the EUROPEAN UNION swallowed up the ex Soviet nations for the sole reason of putting US missile bases on Russia's border.

The first think Romania and Poland agreed to after taking hand outs and freedom of movement was to put US missile bases on their land pointed at Russia.

That's why Finland didn't join Nato it goes against the Minsk agreement ergo not to expand Nato onto the Russian border .

We were all cheering on the illegal invasions of the last 20 years to liberate those countries from tyrants now nobody cares that we squeezed them dry and left them as failed states .

Well if you have a missile base in Moscow and they fire at Washington it will take considerably longer than a missile leaving Romania or Possibly Ukraine aimed at Moscow.
America don't want to fight Russia on their doorstep do they use the ex Soviet EUROPEAN UNION countries as a proxy .



That's the entire point of a nuclear threat and response time.
