Just ignore him Drew. He had no panache or personality for that matter. Panache jealousy is a horrible thing.

Filled up Wednesday at €1.82 which translates to about £1.52. Today at Morrisons £1.58. In France there is a massive difference depending on where you go. You can pay €2.10+ on the Autoroutes. Big supermarkets are way cheaper.

I notice SaxPest didn't come back on the solar panel issue. A grand a year saving for eight grand expenditure sounds pretty unbeatable. One would have thought that a decent accountant would have ( Of if you are a Brexiteer) confirmed that .

Hmm, This must be propaganda to cover things up, as the experts on here said Boris was Putin's puppet.

Russia says UK is escalating war and threatens to strike arms shipments.

Russia’s ambassador to the UK has accused the government of attempting to escalate the war in Ukraine.

His comments come after it emerged an advanced anti-aircraft missile supplied by Britain has been used to shoot down a Russian helicopter for the first time.

The diplomat reiterated the Kremlin’s threats that British arms deliveries to Ukraine will be considered legitimate targets and convoys could be attacked by Russia.

The Ministry of Defence has confirmed a Starstreak launcher successfully fired a rocket at an attack helicopter in Luhansk, one of a cache of arms sent to Ukrainian forces in recent months.

Footballers to kneel for honky kids.

Minority pupils are 'bullied less than white teens', Govt report says

Pupils from ethnic minorities are happier, more academically confident and less likely to feel bullied than their white classmates, according to a Government report.

In a survey of almost 9,000 families commissioned by the Department for Education, ethnic minority children and their parents gave higher positive responses on all aspects of education than their white counterparts.

The findings are in stark contrast to the narrative projected by some commentators of Britain’s ethnic minorities being the victims of systemic racism and discrimination.

They also provide support to the conclusions of a report last year by the Commission on Race and Ethnic Disparities that found, by and large, education is a success story for black and Asian pupils.

Dr Tony Sewell, chairman of the Commission on Race and Ethnic Disparities whose offer of an honorary degree was withdrawn by Nottingham University after the controversy over his report, said: ‘As this survey shows, we have something to celebrate in terms of ethnic minority school success and yet nobody wants to do it.

‘Why can’t we celebrate our children’s success? One of the reasons is that there are people who have vested interests in continuing the negative narrative.’

The story that you meant to link to is here: Gridlock at Dover as lorries wait for disrupted ferry services

As well as being incapable of posting links, you were factually wrong as the title of the article indicates.

With no P&O ferries running and two DFDS ferries out of commission, lorries are having to queue because there is no means of transport available. It would not matter whether Brexit had occurred or not, they would still be queuing on the M20.

<doh> Incorrect – as usual from brain dead Communist corner.

Correct answer: the illusion of cheaper electricity created by a government subsidy of nearly €9bn, borrowed money that French taxpayers (electricity users) will have to pay. It is an election year in France and Macron wants to keep his job.

I'm only on the state one. I decided early on that I would rather manage my finances myself. It's worked out quite well actually. Some people have poured money into private pension schemes and been left with very poor returns, that is if fly by night companies of the de Pfeffel inclination have not run off with the funds entirely.
