That’s our issue really he’s the best we’ve got now Magennis isn’t here. Must be a reason McCann was so reluctant to drop him.
Why do other clubs get a new manager bounce but we didn't? He's supposed to have seen all our previous games and yet has by and large copied Terry game plans.
But we're also 6 unbeaten away from home which is extremely good for our squad but gets completely ignored. Most teams in our position are okay at home but awful away, we're the other way around but we're still picking up points.
I aren’t comparing him to anyone I’m watching what his team is doing And it’s not good The four players he brought in are his players and they’re playing **** i can back my team while I’m there and encourage but when I’m on here I’m going to say what I think and it’s **** It’s boring to watch it’s slow hesitant build up all the time and we rely completely on a young kid in the wing cutting in from the left There’s no other plan
Because we didn't have a manager that was completely out of sorts. Grant had the lads giving everything, so how could they raise it 5/10%? They're just a limited squad of players, and I struggle to see how so many fail to understand this
Spot on, even with 10 it was get the ball to a 5’7 striker and hope he can either get a foul or throw in, he had no help at all with 10 on the pitch.
As daft as this league is, if we'd have signed Yedlin, Pesic and a Babel/Pelkas, we'd probably not be a million miles away
Coaches job to make them less limited and at present we are limited to a 21 and 22 year old on the left hand side providing all our threat. Longman barely gets a sniff of the ball meaning they know exactly where we are going to attack from every time and doubled up on KLP every time.
You could have Pep coaching Smallwood daily, he's never going to become a technical player. Everyone has limitations, it's just what it is. We have the smallest budget and one of the worst squads
I just don’t like the fact we seem to have accepted it. We’re so happy to sit in a rigid shape and not take any risks when they have the ball. We stuck 2 strikers on for 10 minutes and had the best carved out chance of the game.
We were quite the opposite under Grant. He always went for it, we were still beaten most weeks and we still struggled to score goals. There has to be an honest assessment that the only way we can progress is with better players. This season, why do we need to change anything? We're doing enough, we're staying up and that's a good achievement for this squad.
Surely if you are just losing every home game you don't think "Well we're picking up points away so it's fine" You can't do any worse at home so why not try something different ?
We've had two months of games where the home team has won only once. I bloody love away games. The atmosphere from home fans is generally poor, and we need to make a change and get behind City more at the MKM. Fortress MKM is not just Shota's responsibility. Stop wingeing and get some optimism going. Next season we will be on the up!
They’re barely playing at all, if you don’t count Longman and Slater who were technically McCann signings anyway. Forss and Allahyar haven’t really been in the team. I agree it’s not good, but I don’t think it would have been any better under McCann.
