Racism on Not606.

Evening guys.

Just been looking around the website and looked on General Chat and the racism is ****ing disgraceful.

An example of 2 threads from today-

Also many other threads are plastered with racism. This simply isn't good enough, and something needs to be done.

Any suggestions? Can our mods speak to Mick or something - General Chat has to go.

Unless anything is done this website deserves to be shut down, and it I hope it is.

Racism should NOT be tolerated as we have members from all races and ethnicities - I personally am not prepared to tolerate this bollocks any more. The last thing I want is to be affiliated with a racist website.

This is purely unacceptable, afterall this is a football forum not a ****ing playground.

 

Racism is disgusting and should be erradicated from the site along with those that revel in it.

 

The person who posted the threads was banned. However this is an ongoing problem on the GC a moderator is needed.

Free speech is one thing but there are many on the GC that walk a thin line Huth is one who should have been banned a long time ago but is still one of the main posters on there.

Stick to the football boards Sky where there are mods that can deal with any problems.

 

Bit of a joke really and I dont mean the OP. The racism there is a joke. No need.

Its weird though sky because the muslims have nothing but bad stuff to say about jews and its the same on many sites including the likes of Digital Spy which is one of the biggest forums online. I am a little shocked that the jew joke thread got closed as its rarely the case. Seems almost acceptable.

You question them for it and get branded a racist aswell which is bollocks aswell.

At least eddie is now banned though.

 

I posted the least offensive joke on either of those threads and had the biggest reaction. Strange world.

It should be removed or at the very least heavily moderated,but that would mean the GC mods modding other boards mods because theres plenty of them that post vile sheite on that board.

I've posted a thread on the GC board, abuse is bound to flow.

 

The thing is though the thread got locked and one member got banned (and he's back) other members didn't even get a ban.

Should be an instant ban and the thread should be removed, so the racism isn't there to see for members (and guests). It got locked so why wasn't it just removed?

General chat seems to have gone rapidly downhill lately, and it wasn't exactly great before. Some of the language used on there is pretty bad and is more often than not, used to insult other members. There's nothing wrong with a bit of banter but some people are taking it way too far. Something needs to be done quickly or it will get even more out of hand.

 

That sort of **** is really out of order. The whole site will end up with a bad rep, from what I have just seen the GC board serves no legitimate purpose so why have it.

 

I don't see anything being done to be honest, best to avoid. Sky is right though inappropriate posts are common place.

 

Because people want to talk about non-sporting matters and get away from their club boards sometimes. Why do you actually want it deleted? Does it really affect you that much?

 

As if that soppy sod 'addzlfc' is moaning about the language.

What a completely pointless thread, moaning about how it's 'going downhill' when none of the people on here even use General Chat.

 

Agreed,but if GC heads love the board so much give them a membership to GC only and get GC from the top of the homepage to the bottom.

Making GC members only.

 

Shouldn't get deleted but mick could do with spending a week banning and removing the posts/threads of all those who abuse the site.
