This is odd - doing the draw before all the qualifying is done. Because NZ would be fine for us but not Costa RIca

So England potentially draw a group with three countries that predominantly speak English, plus the Welsh.

 

Wales and Scotland always up their game to play England so would have preferred to avoid that potential banana skin but could just as easily be Ukraine. Don’t like the lack of certainty with games still to go ahead. Would have been great to have New Zealand if they win which we could have had.

 

No real obvious group of death

 

I'll definitely take it as a Pot 4 team. Not favoured obviously, but Group A is probably the only one that offered a better chance.

 

No but I see potential banana skin groups for Brazil and Argentina.

 

If everything goes as you might predict on paper we’re looking at an easy ish route to quarter finals, then France in the QF.

 

France look to have a relatively easy group. I guess you never know what Denmark will do. But they really should win the other two

 

Ghana will be fired up for this!

 

Pretty good draw for England and the other European qualifier in the group has a good chance.

 

I love Canada's draw. Playing Belgium 1st game, is also a plus for me.

 

Good on paper, but they will be the worst games to lose.

I’d rather get knocked out by Iceland again than lose to the USA and Wales/Scotland.
