Not gonna embarrass him but a really kind member of this board got a me a ticket for this for just £20...am having the worst work week imaginable so this is keeping me going! Love this board and the members COYS
Have Spurs not reached their Tierney quota yet for this season ?? "How would you like to line up for this one?" Strongest possible starting XI, with Conte giving the message to the players that the sooner they get the game done and dusted, the sooner he can give the subs more game time + rest key players. There is one PL game per weekend all month (and the NLD pending - though with their fixture schedule towards the end of the month there is no way the Goons would agree to playing it therein) .
It won't be May 5th (for reasons I suggested) , although when I think back to April 2010 for Spurs, computer says : yeah why not.
Just reminded the Toon army how hilarious it was watching Spurs piss on their party last time after they prematurely ejaculated 2 minutes in. expect 3 points No excuses tbh
Tottenham are currently fifth in the Premier League three points behind Arsenal and having played a game more than their north London rivals in the race for a top-four place and Champions League qualification. Manchester United sit in sixth a point behind Spurs, with West Ham two points further back in seventh. Asked about battle to finish in the top four Spurs boss Antonio Conte says," United is the team that in this season are struggling a lot. Last season it was Liverpool. "There are four teams are stronger than the others. Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City and United. "If you are asking me about our possibility of making the Champions League [when I took over] I'd have said very, very, very difficult but now I think we have to try and fight to the end. We have the possibility to reach this target. "It's important to have this ambition. To play Champions League is important for me, it's important for the club, important for the players, for everybody. It's an important target for many reasons. You can plan important things."
Tottenham boss Antonio Conte was also asked whether Steven Bergwijn has a future at the club: "He needs to believe in himself more. He needs to continue to work with and without the ball and help the team in every moment. "Football is a team game and you have to be ready to help the team in every moment."
The commentary was hilariously biased: The contrast between the opener and our equaliser was ludicrous. You'd think that we were playing a non-league team and not a club just bought up by murderers.
1. Not accusing you of handbags, but ... 2. When NDombele scored, Tyldesley sounded like he was gonna top himself.
I wasn't going to state the obvious. But I'll state the obvious. Whilst every game is important, this one if possible is moreso because we play before Arsenal. Win this one and we are equal on points, heaping more pressure on them (we remember what it was like to always play after don't we). Clearly they will have games in hand, but they then go into a game against Palace which on Palace's current form isn't a given. Basically I'm saying that all games are a must win. This game is a must-er win.
Checking the fixture list, Spurs and the Goons will be zigzagging who starts match round games first, until the last 2 games (when the KO times are the same) . However, their game in hand is on April 20, away to Chelsky. This is where Spurs have to try to be at worst on level pts having played one game more.
Christ, it's like an acid flashback of all those columns in the 90s telling us that Newcastle are everyone's second favourite team I don't recall being asked, because I couldn't stand them at the time since their fans were as entitled as Liverpool's but with an even worse accent
They are tougher opponents under Howe,no doubt. But Spurs should have too much. Gazza Ginola Les Ferdinand Still say Utd need to beat Arsenal at The Emirates to make this a top 4 race. Be afraid.
