Overcrowding, which was a big reason for the possible sanctions on us, is absolutely happening, because the stairs towards the top of the stands are always full of different people every game, blocking up the aisles.

There was one similar to that in Aus recently (unless that's that one). But it's just a UK vendetta hey. ;)

Seen similar at Old Trafford Test match some years ago. Found out later, tackle was by Salford RL player working as a steward.

Exactly. His 'father' walked along the East Stand with him sporting a massive grin like he had just watched his son score the winning goal in the FA Cup final. If you allow your kid to scale the fence and run on the pitch as his guardian then the 3 year ban should be yours too. At the same game (Luton) another 3 nobheads ran from the South East corner onto the pitch and then back into the stand and sat down. Why would the stewards not have taken action against them or the kid and his father who ran on the pitch for a selfie? They just stood and watched them leave the stadium as people applauded the kid like he was some kind of hero.

Pitch invasions, no matter who by, cost the club money and ultimately that cost is passed on to the owner. Is this how we want to reward a guy for sticking money into the club?

I'm not sure how you stop individuals from going onto the pitch but I assumed you got banned from the stadium
for doing so. Not sure why the stewards just let the kid walk out of the ground.

No great loss, more than likely a £2 day tripper not fully aware how to behave at an actual match, as only experience of football is probably tv watching his beloved ***

Don’t have time for pitch invaders unless it’s the Erika Roe type.

Any of our female fans up for it?

There were 3 likely lads gathering around the dugouts with their phones out last night. Sky cameras picked them up. Clearly out to cause trouble yet stewards were nowhere to be seen and clearly just waiting for the situation to escalate.

Another kid ran on the pitch again last night, fortunately it was at half time so hopefully won't cause any issues, but after all the press this week you'd think his dad would have kept him off the pitch.

Well the kid who ran on against Luton, his dad was actively encouraging him to go on (it happened right in front of us) and his chest swelled full of pride when he returned. Really odd behaviour in my view.

Yeah I saw that too. As someone else pointed out they will be on £2 tickets and have no interest in the club other than to rock up for a big game or cheap tickets

I do think that's a tricky conclusion to come from so far away.
Football really doesn't feel unsafe at all, home or away

Just an educated guess I assume , why would the kid choose to go on the pitch at that game in particular ?
The worst thing was his dad (or the adult with him) seemed to be really proud of him
