Yeah definitely. Last couple of appearances he's looked very sharp. I'm impressed with his control and his ability to pass and move in tight spaces..
Apparently they have to run him off the training grounds because he is always staying late to work on whatever the topic of the day was..... good for him, the right attitude and hopefully it conitnues.
That's true. I saw the interview with Steve Clarke. He said it was hard work trying to get Hendo to stop training and have a rest, always wanting to stay late. Good on him.
I'm a firm believer in if you want to be the best or at your best, training for 2 hours just isn't enough, no matter the level. Even if it is hanging around playing horseshoes, crossbar challenge, working on free kicks, or just touches. The more you do that bit extra the better. I know it is a sort of duh Einstein thinking, but I have come across loads of players who just sat on their laurels and could have been or done much more.

Agreed, I been thinking this aswell, performances have been improving and playing as a sub has benefited him as he is slowly being integrated into the team rather than thrown into the deep end straight away. If thats true, impressive. Really would explain his performances, the first time cross to Suarez was so precise, Carroll would have loved it. Maybe Henderson and Downing on the wings would most benefit Carroll? We have been thinking about who can take up the position on the right hand side and I think Henderson would do well there. Agreed. Carlos Tevez leaving the City training ground on SSN seemed too casual. He looked like he had just gone college against his own will, coming out with his mate like 'Now the party starts', not good enough. (Not to dig on Tevez, I know his been heavily criticised, although I must admit he has brought it all on himself)
I just had a look at the Fulham website to see if I could get some tickets for our game against them in December. I knew I couldn't get tickets in the away end so I had a look at the neutral end and see what the prices were... £55 for a student ticket. How on earth do they expect a student to fork out £55 on a ticket?! Absolute joke.
The racism on General Chat tonight is ****ing disgraceful. This website deserves to be shut down - and to be completely honest i hope it does. Unbelievable.
I agree SKY,that EddieVeeeeeeeee fella got banned for racist(so called)jokes earlier. The site is at a crossroads(imo)and full moderation with warnings and IP bans is overdue.
I used to go on the GC occasionally but avoid it completely now because it is out of control. If it's not people being racist it's people defending them and trying to be clever with the wording. The GC is full of idiots and as you say should be cosed down.
It's not just him though, ****ing loads of them are at it. Some trying to be sneaky about it but it's so obvious.
But we(ordinary site members)cant dictate to the man that forks out the dough to keep the site running,but even he must see that GC is detrimental to the sites popularity and future catchment of new members.
