Yes, took the wife 10 days, which seems to be about the norm.

I tentatively went back to work yesterday - I say tentatively as I cancelled all meetings and just did light 'non thinking' stuff. Still got a headache and cough too.

I ended my self-isolation this morning to return to the office. Haven't had any symptoms since Thursday evening and I tested negative yesterday and this morning.

Day 5 for me and took a hopeful test that I could return to the world at the earliest opportunity as I feel pretty normal. Probably unsurprisingly it came back positive. I'm marathon training again at the moment (or I was) and do a lot of exercise and walking even aside from the running so this lack of movement is a struggle as I'm confined to my room as others in the house are still negative. After sleeping a lot and easily for the first few days I'm now having really restless sleep, presumably just because I'm doing nothing in the day and I have loads of energy. Obviously a really minor inconvenience compared to what a lot of people go through but just sharing my experience. It's really tempting to continue my marathon training but at 2am when nobody will be out and about!

That's me quadrajabbed no side effects, or communication from Bill and Melinda or the Lizard people. Conspiraloons over here have been posting mass hypnosis theories, so that's why I'm feeling sleepy it's not the beer.

I started to feel a bit tight across the chest yesterday, bit dizzy and was thinking "ah, so we meet at last Mr Covid"

Had a small heart attack instead and spent the night in hospital, so still haven't had it yet. It was good to learn that I do in fact have a heart because I've often been told I haven't.
Feeling OK now, mostly just tired so I should be fully recovered by the time I do finally catch it

Wow, so glad you’re OK SC, that must have been a scary experience.

Thanks Chilco. Yes, was scary as I'm only 55 with no history so it was surprising too.

It has all just confirmed my belief that the NHS is an absolute treasure though, and I got quite annoyed that all of the wonderful professionals I met last night felt that they had to keep apologising for poor service and long waits, as if they could do anything about it. Without exception, all the medical staff involved yesterday were brilliant.

Ouch, sorry man. Get well soon.

I've never had a heart attack, but I can definitely say I'd rather have Covid.

I must have been a bit spaced out because the paramedic sprayed nitro under my tongue at one point, and I said "is that nitroglycerin? I've got the recipe for that"

Thanks St B. I actually feel pretty OK, just tired and sore across the chest as I gave my intercostal muscles a workout when I was struggling to breathe.
I'll be back to work tomorrow possibly as I've not been advised to rest or anything

Thanks Laces, I'll do my best but I find it hard to rest as I've a million projects to do at home, so if I'm not working I'd have to lock myself out of the garage so that I don't insulate the roof and plasterboard the ceiling. :emoticon-0102-bigsm
