Off Topic Summer other sports 2022

Friday pay day, pubs didn't open until 6 but the local club would let regulars in through the back for early doors, the place would be chocka by 4, by 6 some fool would have lost his wages at pontoon or 3 card brag, learnt a lot about life and things not to do, in that club

Mate when we were poor thick kids, it was the easiest thing to beat all the brain box eton kids at. For some reason, chess is associated with people who have knowledge, clever people, I'm living proof it's not.

 

I like a game of chess, taught my mrs how to play over xmas actually.

But chess club is not something ive heard of in a normal school (as in not private)

 

Yeah my school had a chess club back in the day, it was house competitions I think. Fook knows how I had that sort of concentration back then, weird how we change.

Im no good at it but i do enjoy a game, its proper chill, gets the mind focused, kinda like a perfect game for stoners tbh

I use to use that line 'I'm no good' all the time.

I used it for chess and pool, both games I use to be good at, although pool came at a higher risk, because there would always be someone that wants to play you for money and some pubs you would have to learn to vacate pretty quickly with your winnings.

When I was 10 we found a porno mag under a fly over near the bus stop to get home.
